Advice for parents with teenagers

Struggling with your teenagers? Here’s some advice.

• Do everything in your power to help them find things they are passionate about.

• Set up everything required for them to succeed.

• Focus on their development.

• Support every move they make.

Mathew has been playing for only one & a half years.

We have a rule in the house.. If he is mid game, he doesn’t have to help with chores until he is finished the game.

Matthew is the Tasmanian under 12 champion & placed 3rd in the under 18 inter school championship.

This weekend we travelled with him to Melbourne where is currently competing in the Victorian championships.

We do everything in our power to support Matthew in his pursuit to become Australian & one day world chess champion😎🤴🏻

Take time to find what your teen loves & support positive outlets for their success♥️

Ps Matthew is also a fan of heavy metal music.. Korn, Limp Bizkit, Metallica, Slipnot etc we accept it because he is learning to play drums.

I’ll say it again.. Support positive outlets😉
