I came from nothing

When you come from nothing, you have no choice but to work hard.

Growing up I had very no support at all from my family. Every mistake I made was my own to deal with.

Likewise every accomplishment was my own to be proud of.

In the first image of me here I am 19 years old. No family. No money. Drinking & using drugs heavily. The house I’m standing in was shared my to many people to count.

In the second photo I am about 21 years old. On the path I had laid out for myself to try & change the course of my life. To be honest I was lifting weights & still drinking heavily. But trying my best.

In the third, fourth & fifth and I am between the ages of 24 & 26 years old. I had achieved my goal of Mr Tasmania, Mr Australia & 5th at the Mr Universe in Germany.

I refused to let me circumstances control my life. I slept on couches, in garages & on the ground to change my life.

I did it all without a family member in sight. I lived off Centerlink & casual work. Spending every minute in the gym, cooking & learning about how to change my body & save my life.

I did all this.. dirt poor & without support.

My message here is very simple.

No matter where you are or with what you have. Start now.

If you are in a rut or near death. Start now.

Decide instantly & never look back.

You will be surprised how capable you really are.

What ever it is.. start now, with what you have. Go..
